US Head Office – Baltimore, MD
Since 1999, Bitumar has strengthened its presence along the US Eastern Seaboard through a strategic investment in Baltimore, Maryland. Chosen for its prime location—featuring direct access to a major seaport and key transportation corridors—Baltimore became the home of Bitumar’s US head office and a central hub for operations.
The facility began operations in 2000, initially producing liquid asphalt for the shingle and roofing sectors. In 2007, Bitumar expanded its capabilities in Baltimore to offer a comprehensive line of liquid asphalt products, supporting both roofing and paving markets. Today, the site manufactures and supplies:
- PG graded paving asphalt
- Industrial asphalt
- Roofing asphalt
Baltimore continues to play a pivotal role in Bitumar’s North American network, aligning operational excellence with our commitment to serving regional infrastructure and industrial needs.
The Baltimore plant has access to marine, rail and truck transportation.
